Graduation Day: Held at Adishesha Retreat Zone - June 27, 11:00am - 4:00pm - Family or Friends are invited!

Plus:

  • Total of contact hours: 180h
  • Homework/self study: 20h
  • Total: 200h

There will be an exam on June 4th.

Observing three classes (schedule to be agreed upon – half way through the course)

One on one interviews if needed (assessment/ concerns/ questions/ feedback/shesha – residue)

Investment Fees:

$2,500.00 plus tax - Early Bird! must be paid in full by January 1st

$2,700.00 plus tax - regular price

$500.00 plus tax deposit at registration, full fee by February 1st

Optional installment payment:

$500.00 plus tax Deposit at Registration. $2,200.00 plus tax divided into 4 equal payments due on the first week of each month starting in March. There is no extra charge when payment plan is chosen.

The course fees include:

  • required texts (Anatomy, Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras)
  • unit material (extra philosophy, sanskrit, theme asana units, asana variations, adjustments)
  • 20 class pass - must be used within the time of the Training course - regular group practice in variety of classes is essential part of learning and integration.

  • Forward bends – prep, variations, intense

  • Arm balances
  • Inversions
  • Restoratives
  • Pranayama & Meditation
  • Nadis/Meridians – what they are, where they are, practical application in Asana
  • Principles of Sequencing, Pacing, Holding Space
  • Vinyasa – smooth linking of the poses (different ways to do it)
  • Skillful hands-on adjusting – when to, when not to, how much (adjusting complete beginners and experienced practitioners)
  • Verbal & visual cues
  • Sanskrit: Asana Names & common terms
  • Functional Anatomy
  • Therapeutic Application of yoga
  • Philosophy: Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita
  • Psychology of teaching
  • Ethics in teaching and being a student
  • Getting ready to teach – Where do I start? Teaching opportunities, etc.
