Introduction to Thai Massage
Introduction to Thai Massage
Sunday, October 24th from 1-5pm
Graceful and profound, Thai massage is a traditional style of bodywork with a history as old as the Buddha -whose personal physician was its first practitioner. Resting peacefully in the present moment, the Thai massage practitioner guides the body through a dance of yogic stretches, energy line work and deep massage. The recipient leaves relaxed and energized, as though having done a perfect yoga session - having received a wonderful massage, all while drifting in a dream-like state.
In this fun, interactive workshop you will be introduced to the basics of Thai Massage, while learning a short bodywork routine that you can practice among family and friends. Anyone with a reasonable level of mobility can participate.
Thai massage is received fully clothed (dress to stretch), at floor level. Please bring heavy blankets (comforters/duvets/etc) and cushions to create a comfortable work area. Please avoid eating any heavy foods before the workshop.
Your Investment: $30 per person $50 per pair
This Event has Sold Out each time it has been run at our Centre. Early Registration Encouraged as Limited Space is Available.
